  • Tess Rosenthal

Tess Rosenthal started performing in theater at age 5 and is graduating with a major in Theater Studies at 22. She also pursued a concentration in arts management and a minor in Religion. She has experienced all sides of theater at Emory within academic and extracurriculars in acting, directing (over Zoom), and administrating. All of this experience culminated in her honors thesis titled Dinner Theater: A Revival which focused on researching the past and present of dinner theater to create a concept and business plan for a modern dinner theater. What's next? Tess Rosenthal is excited to pursue a career in arts management. The near future holds exploration and higher education! Favorite accomplishment? My favorite accomplishment was completing my honors thesis! I loved getting to research dinner theater and build my own concept around that research. It truly felt like the culmination of my college experience.

  • Willa Barnett

I am a senior at the college majoring in Theater Studies with some dabbling in the French and Creative Writing departments. As a junior I had the incredible chance to study at LAMDA and that was very formative to my process and performance as a theatermaker. Currently (but not for much longer!) serving as the artistic director of Dooley's Players. Also recently had the awesome opportunity to co-write songs and co-music direct for Britney, Approximately. Grateful for my time at Emory and all the wonderful people! What's next? I will be spending the summer as a member of Seattle Children's Theater's Emerging Professionals Cohort and working to develop my own practice as a Teaching Artist! Favorite accomplishment? Something I will carry forward in my heart was being able to direct the special project Marry, Fuck, Breath of Water with Dooley's Players and working with such a dedicated team to build an online production that was full of the pacific ocean and love!

This summer, I'll be performing with the summer company at the Ohio Outdoor Historical Drama Association. After that, I plan to move to Chicago and pursue musical theater acting. Favorite accomplishment? My favorite accomplishment during my time at Emory was performing in The Park, Theater Emory's first in-person play after returning from the pandemic. That whole creative process was so fun, I loved collaborating with the rest of the team, and I learned so much throughout that show.
